Yes, it was a poor game but I don't think it was luck that helped them win. That Beckham ball was so powerful it was going to end up in the net anyway.


I agree the ref was biased but the players were also deprived of essential water. It was their first game. It was 30 degrees plus. Give them a chance!

I think it's disgusting that they're trying to stop them having water. It's not as if it's a performance enhancer - it's essential rehydration. I heard on the news last night that some of the players could have lost up to ten pounds in weight through that one match, and as much as I'd like to lose that kind of weight in 90 minutes  it can't be healthy.
