Nestle Double Chocolate v. Green & Blacks cocoa-rich milk chocolate.

The Double Choc has a flat woody aroma, which isn't that appealing.  The bite is firm and has a slightly crumbly texture.  The taste is quite pleasant but austere, the 'pure cocoa?' pieces contrasting well with the main chocolate.  The large bar means one can really get ones teeth in to this  chocolate.

Stats: Cocoa solids 26% minimum; Fat 33%
Bouty's Tip:  Try as an accompaniment to a glass of Stella Artois.
Score: 7/10

The Green and Blacks has a mild chocolatey aroma.  It has a rather delicate bite with pleasant cocoa flavours bombarding the taste buds.  It has a gorgeous yummy texture and a pleasant creamy after taste.

Stats: Cocoa solids 34% minimum; fat 32%
Score 8.5/10

Verdict - G&B wins the day.  Definitely bar of the week.

I don't like it because it's dark.

But if you like dark...its dark chocolate with orange and spices.
