I loved Mint Cracknell too, and Lime Cracknell. I can't remember who made it. Was it Rowntrees? In Australia they do something similar called Peppermint Crisp but I have never tried it.

They won't though - because it didn't contain caramel, biscuit, wafer or praline! Those, along with truffle, are the required ingredients of bars nowadays.

oldspice that is so true. I think there's about 5 different ingredients and they juggle them about to see how many combinations they can come up. Unfortunately too many choc bars are alike.

Yes, now I'm sure it was Nestle.

I've just found this:

I’ve been looking in the shops for these Confectionery lines and can’t seem to find them anymore, where are they sold? Are they still available?
Bunny Tots, Candy Tots, Tiger Tots, Cabana, Caramel Wafer, Coffee Matchmakers, Golden Cup, Fox’s Fruits and Mints, Good News, Maverick, MINT CRACKNELL, Novo, Nutty, Pretzel Flipz, Prize, Reward, Secret, Splicer, Triple XXX mints, Vice Versas, Coffee Walnut Whip, Yorkie Almond, Nutter, Peanut.

We are sorry to inform you that the products listed above have been withdrawn from our range due to the high cost of production and the relatively low level of sales. We would like to assure you that the decision to withdraw any product is reached only with great reluctance and we regret any disappointment this product's absence has caused you.
