Does anyone have any recommendations?

I will be going to Katz Deli, Krispy Kreme, McDonalds and Starbucks.

If you're looking for fast food options, I also recommend Taco Bell, Dunkin Donuts, and Wendy's. Though, I'm sure you'll find much better food in the proper restaurants! Have a great time

He wants to go to a Wendy's as well. Looking through the guide books there just seems to be endless options!

For one of your lunches, make sure you find somewhere serving bagels. You get every kind of filling you could imagine. Also be sure to eat Italian at least one night - the Italian food in New York is the best in the world, including Italy!
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Blooms in Whitechapel, London's East End was the best place ever for bagles. Sadly no longer open.

Old but spicey!

There's a really nice Italian restaurant just off Times
Square, I can't remember the name but I'll try and dig
it out, the food's great and the staff are lovely. If you
want to push the boat out Tao is fantastic but very
expensive.
