I was thrilled as always when the proms were on.  Who watched the last night?  I wish it were on all five channels and force all the Chavs onto the streets.

I watched some of the proms. I loved them. I missed The Last Night but my daughter taped it for me. Haven't had time to watch it yet.

It was good, as always.  I've always wanted to go, and really ought to apply before I'm too ancient.  I wish there weren't so many other 'Last Night of the Proms' though - I usually play for at least three a year.  They should leave it to the proper one.

Goldencup, I really admire good musicians. It must be great to play in a proper quintet/quartet/orchestra or whatever. Just to play an instrument well is a wonderful thing.
