Has anyone ever won anything on a competition?

I was a runner up in the Heat Magazine crossword and won The Office on DVD. But apart from that, I have't won anything else!

Nothing spectacular no, a couple of little things.  A friend of mine won a car though and she's retired and doesn't drive!

I won tickets to a concert but I didn't go, I was having a blonde
moment! I opened the envelope and pulled out the flyer thinking it was
just advertising the concert. Put the flyer and the envelope on my
shelf and thought no more of it. Come the next week I was tidying up, I
picked up te envelope and felt there was something more inside, I
looked in and there were 2 tickets. It turns out I was away that
weekend and couldn't have gone anyway, so that was a bit of a blessing!

My husband has won loads of things including holiday weekends, first class travel, a new kitchen, DVDs, CDs, soft toys, beauty products, meals out .... I could go on and on.

He does about 10 competitions per week.

I won the 96 mars bars same as paulham in the mars comp . Once won £50 on the Daily Star saturday crossword, won a "100 things to do with fish"recipe book from the sunderland Echo, trying to win a meal at the time.

Then there was my Blue Peter badge for my Dougal made from a fairy liquid bottle and a lot of yellow wool. Won a bottle of champage once for being the person who could keep the hoola hoop going for longest in a Marbella hotel.

Just before Xmas I won a DAB digital radio on Colin & Edith's radio one show quiz 'bits and pieces' - it was on the topic of one hit wonders.

Well done

I like to enter a few competitions, you've got to be in it to win, as
they say. I do the one in TV Choice and the ones in my mums magazines.
