I know we have discussed tattoos before and I do think sometimes they can look nice but I think tattoos on hands are really ugly. Today at the pub the chef/cook  came out of the kitchen into the bar and his hands were covered in those home made indian ink efforts. Also he had a cross tattood on his ear lobe. He was about 55 and I wondered how many years he had been stuck with them.

My husband, aged 51, has two magnificent eagles tattooed on his back. He has lovely smooth skin so they look fresh, although they are 30 years old. Tattooes on hands or necks or faces are horrible to me. I knew a young guy who had little broken lines around his neck with the words "cut hear". I always wanted to.

Tattoos on backs and tops of arms are ok and i have seen some real impressive ones. I like when the young girls have those lovely designs at the bottom of their backs and wish that had been fashionable when I was younger as I would have definitely had one. The nicest tattoo I ever seen on a girl was big yellow sunflowers all round the middle with a fine chain tattood dangling at the front so it looked like a belly chain. It looked stunning. Speaking of my dislike of tattoos on hands I forgot the ankle ones. I don't like to see tattoos on girls ankles. Now I'm going to move onto ankle chains. I was never allowed to wear an ankle chain as my mother said it was associated with loose women.lol

Yes, I was told that too. As a teenager I was warned never wear an ankle chain and never wear red satin knickers.

The daisy chain round the middle sounds wonderful - until you have a baby and your waist expands!

I would have had one of those small tattooes too Loulou - my niece has a lovely little butterfly on the back of her shoulder.

This is my tattoo. I love it and I wouldn't change it.

I have seen some gorgeous ones. At live 8 I saw a girl who had a fairy on her back and it was stunning, really beautiful

I don't really like girls with tattoos on their ankles, hands and arms. I like tattoos on tummys and backs.

My friends were telling me they are addictive and once I get one I will
want more. I can honestly say I do not want anymore. I am quite happy
with my one tattoo.

My friend has 2 stars on her wrist and a chinese sign on her ankle. I
am not sure I like them. She has the most gorgeous butterfly on her
back though.
