That's probably because many places don't stock them or they are stored where people can't see them. Do any supermarkets sell them?

Sadly, like many chocolate products that are as old as the hills, Walnut Whips are just run-of-the-mill these days. It is perhaps because we can all enjoy chocolate when and where we wish with today's more affluent society, whereas some years ago, when such things were more of a luxury and enjoyed more rarely, they were appreciated more.
