On www.irn-talkingshop.co.uk it says that Texan bars will be relaunched
for a period of 6 weeks. They are due to hit the shops on 22nd of
August.

Yes, have had quite a few rumours building of this.

Have just asked Nestle to send me some details or an official comment.

I think they taste quite good, they are very chewy and we thought they had a sort of honey taste to them.


They dont seem to be as big as I remember them but I was a lot smaller then so they would seem quite big at the time

Pretty sure they ain't quite the same.


For a start, they're half the size (and twice the price, but that's inflation for ya).


I remember the nougat inside being hard enough that you could bite all the chocolate off around it.


And I'm quite sure the nougat was more orange in colour, and maybe even had a slight orangey taste.


These new 'uns are nice ... but as far as I'm concerned: close, but no cigar.
