Old Products / everything We have lost !
« on: October 03, 2006, 05:38:17 pm »

Hi, anyone else old enough to remember Nux barrs? they were really nutty & chewy & absolutely delicious, or maybe it's just so long since I tasted one that my memory is playing tricks! If you have noticed my quest for Guyliain hazelnut bars, you will realise I'm nuts about nutty choc. Anyone spotting anything new in the nutty department ,please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks Oldspice, ihave now (after several calls to specialist suppliers) managed to find just one shop within a radius of 50 miles, actually only 30 mins up the road ! if you need to track down something special try asking Jude at House of Saren, she's very helpful ,just tell her the product & the first 2 letters of a postcode, & she can tell you what confectioners they supply in that area, call on 01258 457439.

Thanks again Smurfboy, but I have already tried Cybercandy, no help there. It was while searching on Google that I found Chocolate Forum. I now have  a  'phone number for Guylian sales, will be trying them tomorrow.

Thanks for your reply Smurfboy, but I already tried Woolies & they don't stock this one. I know it is still made, just can't find out where to buy it.

Hi, can anyone tell me where I can buy Guylian whole hazelnut bars (milk chocolate)? I used to buy them in Tesco until a few months ago,for a while they had the plain choc version, but now no Guylian bars at all!! I have tried all major stores in my area, but no luck, getting desperate! Am willing to travel to areas served by different supermarkets, but not keen on wild goose chase, can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks.
