The following from a reputable site :

Irn-Bru 32 is a brand extension to the Irn-Bru range, and is the first time Barr themselves have marketed an Irn-Bru variation in the functional energy market. Whilst Iron-brew flavoured energy drinks have been available for a while, either in non-alcoholic or alcoholic variations, these beverages have usually been at the value end of the marketing spectrum usually coming in litre bottles. On the other hand, Irn-Bru 32 will be marketed at the top end of the category against other energy drinks such as Red Bull, V and Red Devil. Its name is claimed to come from the 32 secret ingredients of Irn-Bru.[4], although this could also be explained by the fact that the drink contains caffeine in the concentration 32mg/100ml

So there you go Mr Black Knight

Think I might remember them. Definitely remember Pascall Fruit Bon Bons though, they had a chewy centre and a boiled exterior. Came in a big packet and were individually wrapped in white paper, unsure if they came in a murray mint type packet though.

I'm sure it was a solid bar, not very big and was a mixture of milk and dark (bournville) chocolate.

The original boosts were indeed coconut and came in a red wrapper. Then there were biscuit boosts which had blue wrapper and peanut which had a brown one. The biscuit boost is now just a boost. The coconut one disappeared and the peanut one reverted back to a star bar, which it already had been in the seventies and early eighties

Anyone remember Gambit's? They were 15p and had an advert with a cartoon man who stopped at a canyon and couldn't get across. He had a bite of Gambit, pulled a rainbow from the sky and used it as a bridge to cross the canyon. It came in a burgandy colour wrapper with gold writing I think.
