Oh no - the boost is fab Tongue
The best thing to do is to eat it the girly way (ie pick it to pieces!) I nibble off the chocolate, open up the caramal bit, eat all the biscuit inside, and then eat the caramal last. Yum... Makes it last ages!!!

Discontinued? / Cadbury's miniature
« on: October 20, 2007, 07:39:01 am »
You know the teeny ones that used to come in roses, and they had the proper foil and wrapper? You could also buy them in their own little boxes. Well, i got a couple of boxes from the 99p store, but i've never seen them anywhere else, and i think the dairy milk chunks might be taking over? Hmmm.....does cadbury just do whatever it wants and ignores what customers want?!!!!They were only teeny so the kcals don't count either!!!LOL

I once got followed in M&S by a security guard, and i actually heard the sales assistant tell him to watch me! I was really reall upset - i don't think i appear to be a thief! I wrote and got a 5 - that's pretty rubbish when i think about it.

General / tomatoes
« on: April 25, 2007, 04:35:06 pm »
Ok - so here's my scenario. In my quest to be healthy i'm thinking about buying more organic foods and cooking more instead of ready meals. Then i'm also interested in local/seasonal produce. Anyway...this was my dilemma in sainsburys.

They had vine ripened (non-organic) tomatoes half price that looked nice for 89p. There were also some teeny organic cherry tomatoes at 99p. But when i read the label the non-organic were from worcestershire (a few miles down the road) and the organic were from the canary islands. So, i bought the local ones. What would you have done?

ConfusedConfusedConfused

By the way - they were lovely!!!

Omigod...has anyone tried the weight watchers rich toffee bar? Don't think they're available in shops - just mail order or at meetings.

89kcal of total yummyiness. FAB - I think they're lying though - there HAS to be more kcal than that in something so nice Tongue

General / What are you reading?
« on: March 22, 2007, 08:38:55 pm »
Yep - am reading 'mustn't grumble' - is very good. Smile  I do love Sir Terry. I draw the line at reading autobiographies from people who are about 21 (aka Coleen!!!) Surely there's not much to write yet. Grrr....I'm not lining her pocket so she can go and spend it on stupidly priced clothes and bags. Confused

I read 'feel the fear and do it anyway.' I'm always looking for self help stuff. I couldn't get into it though. Very American and twee. Maybe i'm cynical but it was all too sugary and too good to be true.

My dad told me about a great website. www.readitswapit.co.uk You can register your books then trawl through the library and the site sends request to do permanent swaps, so if you're not bothered about keeping books you can keep swapping and it just costs postage. If you request someone's book they are sent a link to your list and if you have one they want to read they accept the swap. It's great.

What do i really want to read...shopaholic and baby! I'll wait until it's out in paperback i think LOL
