I believe they have out here a variety bag, of the little 2 finger bars. They come in dark, white, and milk. For Valentines they brought back the cherry Kit-Kats. I believe they used to have one other flavored one, but have not seen it in a while like a mocha one or something, and they still have the white Kit-Kats here, and the one finger HUGE Kit-Kat. I know M&M's here are now in Dark Choco, White Choco (unless they have stopped these), Peanut Butter, Almond, Peanut, and plain milk. Hershey's seems to be putting caramel in a lot of their products. The reg bard, the PB cups, also the pb cups come in an inside out type thing now also where they outside chocolate is Peanut Butter, and the middle is chocolate, also White Chocolate pb cups, and the Mega Cup 1 big PB cup.

They have the big cadburry bars on sale here. I thought the ones in Australia were much richer in chocolate flavor than ours here. I brought a friend of mine who lives in Australia the Hershey's Cookie and Cream bars cause she missed them now that she has moved back there. Godiva is easy to find here, but they do charge a bit to much for just a chocolate bar. It's good, but overpriced for what it is in my opinion. They also over here rarely bring a new type of product into their stores here. They did introduce a plat I believe line where it's decorated more art deco with a few weird fillings like panut butter and jelly, not sure if they still have it but it was about 30 dollars for a box of 12 here in the us. I believe the small plain chocolate bars are about 3.50 a piece.

Just basic chocolate covered caramel, nougat, with peabuts. I am not a great fan f it, but it's popular here. The cherry Ripe was good I had it when I went to Australia. I also like Areo bars. I thought the mint one was nice. I wound up bringing a few new things back to the US.

These came out here in the US a long time ago. I wanna say a few years ago. They are to me basically like a reg snickers just a change of the nut, or a mars bar. But they have been out for a very long time here.

I know from living here in the U.S your chocolate is made much different than like hersheys here. Hersheys uses milk that has soured just a bit I believe which gives it that slight tang taste. If you only knew chocolate all your life as the Hersheys types you would be fond of it, but even I after trying your chocolate like yours better. It's just much creamier and has a more I guess natural straight flavor of chocolate without that tang. I can eat a piece of UK chocolate, then a piece of a hershey bar and can BIG time taste the tang in the hershey.

Foreign Products / WHERE CAN I GET RUSSELL STOVER CHOCOLATES
« on: February 19, 2007, 06:32:27 am »
Funny I have a unwrapped heart shaped box of russells I picked up at the store the day after Valentines only because I couldnt pass up the good value they had it for. I would say to me russells is ok at best. Guess cause I live in the US and have had them a lot, but have fell in love with more of the chocolate from the UK region. I don't know where you might be able to get some from maybe check their website, or maybe you can arrange someone from this side of the pond to ship some over would be the only other way I would know. I have a friend in Australia I need to have send me a couple of things.

New Products / Too pretty to eat?
« on: February 19, 2007, 06:24:41 am »
Well, since I live in the U.S M&M's are EVERYWHERE here. I can understand why they may smell a bit off in the UK as hershey chocolate is made a bit different over here, and usually has a very different taste from something I may order from the UK as I tend to lean more towards you folks chocolates. M&M's are very big here and now can even be ordered customized with messages, or colors. I like them, but wouldnt go out of my way to buy them, or even really buy a bag unless I needed to.

Are these just reg covered Kit Kat wafers with the milk chocolate coating? I was wondering cause they have been around over here in red wrappers in the 4 finger bars for years.

Foreign Products / Cherry Kit Kat
« on: January 28, 2006, 03:30:19 am »
I have a bag of the Cherry Kit kat Minis sitting right here. They are only out for Valentines they have them in valentines wrapping and say Valentines on them. They are White chocolate cherry flavored coating with the wafers so only the white chocolate is cherry. I think they are really good. I have not tried any of those other flavored ones. I think they did mint for christmas never tried it though, and they did the white chocolate covered ones, and I think a cappacino one or a peanut butter, or mocha something along those lines I never tried it. I do like the cherry ones a lot and will buy another bag or two before Valentines cause they are pretty good and I just have one mini a day and that's all I need.
