As a child I do remember these "tools" but my mother didn't like me eating them and actually forbade me from playing with the kids that did......!I think she thought these kids were too rough...........

I Agree.....I think oatmeal and Chocolate should be kept apart by at least a hundred miles.. by law .......but then i am a bit of a food fascist....

My friend says and i'm quoting now " Baristo bars were weird,2 fingers,green packets and yellow packets,like oatmeal bars with raisins in them covered in chocolate "If as led to believe, we were an experimental town..........Baristos could have lived and died here....!

As afficionados of long lost choc bars,does anyone recall a Baristos bar.....a friend of mine, also from my isolated town clearly remembers a bar of this name at about the same time as cabana bars hit the shelves

« on: October 19, 2005, 07:09:17 pm »Loulou,Choc Chick lets get back to Cabana bars ,im sure this restaurant is very nice but its not going to help confirm or deny the existance of melon cabanas.....i to have no memory of these bars,and as a child was lead to believe that my town was often used as a form of chocolate bar testing ground due to its isolation....melon cabanas i dont think so......
