orange and cream can indeed go well together, such as with anything dreamsicle flavored or if you've had the orange creamsavers....
they're available in france and are much like maltesers....i posted a picture of them in another post just a few weeks ago so just do a search on that..i believe it pertained to new kitkat chunky flavors...
in general, yea, peanut butter and the like seems to dominate our range of stuff...i love a good reese's peanut butter cup every now and again, but i could name countless other things i'd rather have..
most americans really have no idea as to what other kinds of chocolate bars are out there...in showing my friends all my wrappers and having them taste new acquisitions, they totally realize how sparse our variety is here and wish we would have a lot of the stuff offered abroad... as for everyone else, though, unless they have opportunity to see and/or taste what else is out there, they'd have no idea...
i would LOVE a coconut kitkat, but can't say i've ever heard of one ever having existed...
i actually really enjoyed the kitkat gold, and found the extra cocoa dusting to definitely add something...
i have no complaints in regards to u.s. kitkats other than the fact that they are BORING. With starbucks on every corner, one would imagine that, for instance, a cappuccino-esque kitkat would definitely interest a lot of people. Instead, we get "triple" chocolate, which is hardly different than the regular one.
Aside from that, they are still delicious and I find at least the regular varieties to be very comparable to the british variety.
actually, there's no caramel involved..its a cocoa powder dusting
i get depressed every time i learn of a new kitkat coming out anywhere outside the u.s....its really pathetic that our most exciting one is like 'triple chocolate'...not gonna lie, its fun having to go hunting so as to acquire these foreign kitkats, but it can get a bit pricey...
yes, it definitely has wafer inside...the 'wrapper' was paper as opposed to plastic, too. i guess its kitkat 'ball' as opposed to 'balls' as well which is rather amusing
