Has anybody heard of these?
Are they still available anywhere or does anyone have a picture of them?
I went to Tamworth last night and brought £5.00 of them, they are doing 3 for £1.
Yummy.
Would it not be a good idea for one of the letters in the word Chocolate Review to be replaced by one of the letters in the rereleased Texan bar , before it goes , possibly forever?
Is this a feasible request or is the title, as it is, too well published to be changed?
I am just curious to know?
Is there anyone out there old enough to tell me if the new Texan bar is smaller than the original one?
It doesn't seem as thick as before, but seeing as I last had one 20 years ago it might just seem that way!
I received my parcel from Sweetie in the post this morning, thankyou very much for both items.
Yummy !
It has to be Opal fruits, as they were made to make your mouth water!
I am not having a go at Hello Sweetie,in fact I have visited the website and find it very good value for money and a lot more "human" than other websites.
I very much appreciate Hello's kind offer of a Texan bar,if Hello feels insulted by any comments I have made then I apologise openly on the Forum .
Sweetie, many thanks for the private message, the main people I was insinuating that are ripping off people are the ones who are selling bars on Ebay, I understand it is a commercial market but paying silly amounts, plus over the top post and packaging on Ebay is a bit sad I find.
I am not here to advertise, I do not work for Hancocks,I am here to try and get a decent deal for people who only want to get their hands on a Texan bar, I am not a retailer,or Cash and Carry, just a person who , when I find out possible information about how to obtain Texan bars, wants as many people as possible to be able to buy them, as we are getting no help at all from Nestle.
Yes we do sell the new Texan Bar, they are available throughout all of our
16 cash & carries across the country.
Im not sure if you know where our outlets are so I will jot down a quick
list:
Loughborough, Sheffield, Bradford, Manchester, Stoke, Birmingham, Bristol,
Glasgow, Newcastle, Hull, Portsmouth, Coventry, Stockton (middlesbrough),
Cardiff, and Watford.
I can forward the phone number and address of the depot you need, should you
choose to and they should be able to answer any further questions.
Thanks,
I had this reply from www.hancocks.co.uk, a cash and carry retailer, unfortunately this only deals with the trade, but if any of these places are near to your local sweetshop then you could always ask them to check this place out.
Perhaps someone out there could buy a lot at trade rate and sell them to us normal people at a non-ripped off price?
Am I the only person unhappy that people have been able to buy Texan bars in big quantities, only to try and sell them for over the top prices on EBAY?
I am not the only person struggling to locate and buy even one bar,and am not happy also with the way that Nestle has randomly seemed to select small places to distribute them.
The profits these companies make should surely enable them to have a big advertising campaign and to make Texans available at big places, even places like Woolworths etc, where they sell loads of sweets don't seem to have them.
It is strange the way the Nestle web page seems to be down in the Contact Us section at the moment, maybe they are fed up with receiving emails asking where people can get Texans! ?
I do not want to be forced to pay over the odds costs to get a bite of my beloved Texan bar,how many others feel like this!
Are there any rich people out there who would like to buy up a quantity of Texans and distribute ones out to the people who originally brought them
