General / WAYNE ROONEY
« on: April 21, 2005, 07:47:37 pm »

Well,  if I had to sleep with either Wayne Rooney or Andrew Lloyd Webber....or face certain death..... I would have to choose Wayne. However if I had to choose to spend the rest of my life with either Andrew or Wayne or face certain death it would have to be Andrew because he may be ugly but at least he has brains.

Brainy men kinda turn me on you see. "Phoar! look at the intellect on that!" I say.

I'm in love with Stephen Fry and want to have his love child.Shame he's gay.

It was a solid chocolate lemon shaped thing like the orange. Not sure what the fondant thing you are describing is other than one of the centres that used to be in the old selection of Terrys All Gold.

Yeah good to see them happy at last. Loved the dress she wore to the blessing but what on earth was that on her head? It made her look like a porcupine .

I think these daft feather contraptions that people wear on their heads these days will be one of those fashion things we will look back on in years to come and think "what were they all about?" you know like 80's style mullets or the puffball skirt.

Aside from chocolate this is the most divine confectionary I have ever tasted but can't seem to find it anymore. Used to be able to buy it in newsagents. Think it was made by a company called Robertsons? it came in little slabs covered in cellophane with blue writing on the front.

Chocolate lemons didn't last very long and not surprising really -blinkin' horrible!

Also, what happened to Banjo Bars ? They used to be called Trophy Bars util the Trophy Brewery complained. Remember the TV jingle?

Altogether now....

Sing to the tune of "Oh Susannah"

"Banjo! Banjo! The one for me and you

Light and crispy wafer plus roast nut flavour too."

I really need to get out more.

Adverts / Very peeved with Cadbury
« on: April 08, 2005, 07:59:08 pm »

I'm v. peeved with Cadbury. I came up with [what I thought was] a very good idea for a new product. It's basically Cadbury "Buttons" covered in hundreds and thousands [you know like the ones you get in "pick and mixes" but the chocolate isn't real chocolate and tastes foul? But made with Cadbury chocolate they would be heavenly] I thought they could launch these in milk and white chocolate and call them Cadbury "Rainbow" Buttons-inspired!!!.

But instead of even thanking me for the idea I just got a standard reply letter that they send to marketing students with a brochure telling me all about the company. Looks like they didn't even read my letter as I am not a student!

Right now my happiness hates Cadbury. And yeah those ads are terrible! V. patronising like we're all 3 years old or something.

Grrr......just had to get that off my chest

Hello fellow chocoholics

Just wondering and pondering [as you do]. Can anyone remind me what Mousse Bars of the 70's looked like. I vaguely remember them -they were like Milky Way yeah?-but can't remember what the wrapping was like.

Cheers
