General / Ebay strangeness
« on: October 29, 2006, 07:38:44 pm »

I personally avoid those who hide their feedback. If they hide it then they obviously have something to hide. We were selling a car and we had a member who bidded on it. about 30mins before the auction was due to end he sent us a message saying he had bidded on the wrong item, and could we react the bid. At the time I didn't know how to and so I just waited.

When the auction finished there was no more bids and his was the winning bid. I sent via ebay a non payment which if he had clicked on that he had agreed not to purchase the item we would of been reimburesed with our losses (about £30) but because the prat clicked on he had agreed to purchase the item we are now out of pocket of £30. ebay say that there is nothing they can do.

Apparently he did it again with somebody else and no his feedback is private.

New Products / Tesco Finest Chocolate

I don't think it's as bitter as bournville is. Sometimes the trouble with dark chocolate is that it can taste too sickly. Don't get me wrong it is the best chocolate but you couldn't eat a full bar of dark choc compared to a bar of milk choc.

(waits for the "I can" replies)

it really gets on my nerves about so called lo cal lo fat bars. All they do is make the bar smaller, hence less calories or fat content.

Don't they already do dark KitKats? or is that just in the multi packs?

I had one of these the other day and they were very nice. Hope they bring it out in a chunky version too.

I know it's not a new product but anybody tried them?

They are 72% cocoa and are about half the price of a lindt bar (75p) Not really keen on shop brand chocolate but this one is delicious.

I actually thought Cadbury's made it. To this day until I saw that advert I could of sworn they were made by Cadbury.

General / Aero normal?
« on: May 16, 2005, 04:37:44 pm »

If someone asked you to get an aero for them and they didn't say which one they wanted which one would you get for them?

Only ask because I heard someone complaining the other day that they wanted a mint areo when there partner had gone to the shop and they hadn't said which areo they specified.

Typical woman   Just tried the Irish Cream Aero and it's GORGEOUS. You girls are gonna love it. It tastes a lot like Baileys but sweeter and less alcoholic.

My wife will love those. Although she would probably enjoy it if it was alcoholic
