Robert Opie's museum used to be at Gloucester Locks but I believe it moved to Notting Hill. It was still open Spring 2007 when I last looked.

It is (or was) a fascinating place which took hours to look round because you'd keep stopping to shout "I remember that!" ...but then you realise you are recognising things from your childhood in a MUSEUM and it all seems really sad.

I fail to see why we couldn't have joined the list of countries which deny entry to this odious former bankrupt. If his actions were offensive to those nations, they're offensive to us too.

Britain may have been his homeland at one point but that was only a convenience to allow him to travel to Cuba, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc. His repellent habits surely mean we can wait till he settles somewhere as far away from humanity as possible, then cancel his passport?

Perhaps to guarantee us a few gold medals at the 2012 games we could introduce a few traditional British games, like worm charming, tiddlywinks, vindaloo eating, bar skittles, and throwing up in doorways. Any more?

I bought some peanut butter flavour Wotsit-lookalikes at Frankfurt airport in July, so the technology is already there. Very moreish!

Hey thanks Lou, that's given me a great idea for a new choc bar. What about a "Raisin Amazin'" bar?

I even have an idea for a jingle: "It's amazin' what raisins can do. Full of goodness and it's all for you."

Man, I'll make a fortune!

Vorderman was asked to take a 90% pay cut, which would still put her on £100,000 a year. If you can get that kind of dosh for doing sums, heck I vote for myself as her replacement. I have better legs too.
