Title: favourite bars
Post by: maggiemay on June 10, 2005, 09:34:56 am

Hi everyone. My favourite bars are Chrunchie and Flake. The bar I most miss is real Milky Ways. I don't like the horrible white filling.I also love other sweets like Cola Cubes and Cough Candy.

Welcome maggiemay.  There are other people on here (like me!) who miss the old Milky Ways too.  There are also some who insist that Flyte bars are the same thing!  I used to love Cola Cubes as well but haven't seen them for years.  Can you still get them?

Yes you can still get cola cubes goldencup. Bassetts do a bag of
Traditional Favourites and the pic n mix in Woolworths still have cola
cubes as a choice.

Real Trebor cola cubes are nice - especially with the lovely chewy centres. However, I find they cut the roof of my mouth a bit.

Crunchie and Flake are both lovely. My favourites at the moment are Double Decker and Cadbury's Turkish.

I've gone off Crunchie, I used to love it but not anymore.

I'm into bagged chocs at moment, Minsterels and M&M's, mmmmmmm. Those new pouhces they do are really classy and sexy.

Style over substance!

Give me a larger brown paper bag full of either sweet.

How about Flake covered Crunchie?

I love Double Deckers too. I don't like MMs - they smell nasty. I like Minstrels and Maltesers. Revels are boring.

I seen an ad today in Grazia magazine for a place to buy cola cubes , sherbet dips, flying saucers, fruit salad chews and candy lipsticks. It's www.buyagift.co.uk

I haven't had chance to look myself so don't know if it's any good or expensive.

I just had a quick look. You all need to look under the traditional gifts at the sweet hampers. I want them all.

Had a packet of Fruit Salads the other day and they lacked in flavour.
Is this the way its going with them now or did I have have an unlucky
pack.

No I didn't Choccy Chick!  No sign of them in my (very inferior) branch of Woolworths.  They did at last have the full range of Milka though but I managed to resist!
