I did some gardening too. Did some washing. Swept the floors. Made some homemade cream of leek soup and some banana bread. Worked on my family history.
Been quite busy really.

Meandered around town this morning and have been sitting in the park and reading The Great Gatsby this afternoon. So lovely outside. Going to watch Robin Hood with my housemate and have a generally quiet, inexpensive night in

Oh, I had to work nine to five. Then went with my mum to visit my Gran's grave. One year since passed away. Then had nice dinner followed by Tirimasu and watched the sea eagles and that scrumptious bit of totty working with Bill Oddie.

goldencup go to the pub. That's too many people to cook for and think of all the dishes you will have to wash. Definitely go to the pub , relax and enjoy yourself.

until he decided to put a CD player in the car, burnt out the earth wire so I didn't see him for most of the day 
Had a lovely jacket potatoe with cheese and coleslaw though....followed by a good 100g chunk of CDM with Caramel

I had a nice day with my boyfriend planned

I hope you enjoyed your read, sillyyank. I read that and "The diamond as big as the ritz & other stories", two Penguin Classics editions that I eyed on a "special price" display at the store, a year ago. I really liked Gatsby, and have been curious about "Tender is the night" since, as well. Have you read it?
I haven't read "Tender is the night", but I might get to it after Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath. Gatsby was a good read though.

As we were a large group with a collection of fussy teenagers we ended up at a boring Brewers Fayre but it was a fun evening. We had mixed combos then I had a veggie rice stack thing then a very naughty 'chocolate indulgence' dessert that included maltesers and marshmallows. Back on the diet today!

i went to a mexican restuarant with a friend and we both had a main and two desserts, then he had a third dessert which i helped with and we both had a magnum on the way home.
it was quite funny to see the waiters face, us being somewhat fitter than average muscley people , coming in and then eating all that

Yes it all turned out well in the end. He made up for it
I'm always eating chocolate in bed lou...it's a very hard habit to break.
