where have wispa's gone?? i used to get wispas every christmas in my selection box, and i always saved it till last.... but now i think it's gone!!!
-
CDM Bubbly is all you get instead!
-
It seems the Wispa is quite sadly missed. I never used to buy it very often but it's a shame the option has gone. Wispa Gold and Mint are different matters though - I could have happily lived on them
Aero Caramel is a very poor imitation of Wispa Gold
-
I see they have altered Aero caramel already.
-
Really? Have you tried the new version? I might be tempted to give it a go. I still have an original in my fridge that will be eaten at a point of desperation.
-
I seem to have more and more points of desperation lately...

It has been relaunched with the other Aero's except orange, as 'now more creamier'
-
Yes but they have also changed the internal layout of it.
-
Please tell me they don't really call it 'more creamier'
-
Yes but they have also changed the internal layout of it.
That sounds complicated!
-
I am sure on the packet it has the new Aero logo, they have changed the
font. And then in the corner 'now more creamier'. I will have a look
when I go in the shop next time.
-
I'll go along with 'now more creamy' or even 'now creamier' but 'more creamier?'. Still it wouldn't surprise me, the standard of English nowadays....(walks off into the sunset, wringing her hands and muttering darkly to herself).
-
The term "creamier" suggests an upward moderation from "creamy". Therefore, "more creamier" is superfluous (??) and also bad English!

You can breath a sigh of relief goldencup. It says 'New creamier chocolate'
-
and send Chocchick back to school to learn gooder English, innit?

Why?
-
I was going to ask why. There's nothing wrong with choc chicks english.

Well thank goodness for that - I can sleep tonight!
-
Was it a good sleep then?
-
I think chock chic was quoting from a wrapper so it's their bad English I was referring to.

wispa's are still avalible but they are under a diffrent name.
i think it was last year cadbury changed all there product names like caramel changed to cadbury's dairy milk and caramel.wispa's are now cadburys dairy milk and wafer.
sorry if i confused you
-
oh and they are a lot smaller now then they used to be
-
wispas don't have wafer in
-
OH SORRY WRONG BAR
ITS NOW CADBURY DAIRY MILK AND BUBBLES
-
SORRY ITS NAME IS BUBBLY NOT BUBBLES
-

HERE'S A PICTURE OF IT
-
Is that really a Wispa?
-
yes i think so
-
Hah! If you think that is anything LIKE a Wispa you are seriously deluded.
f**king corporations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
what do you mean paulham?
-
I like Cadburys Bubbly.
I used to LOVE mint Wispas.
-
I loved mint wispas too and mint aeros. There aren't enough minty chocolate bars about.
-
I like cadbury's bubbly but its not as a nice as wipsa. Wispa had a nicer texture
-
i think wispa was smoother
-
I would like to see them both available! They do it with Turkish Delight and Turkish, why not Wispa and Bubbly?
-

I can image that Wispa sales were high. Why discontinue them?
-
Indeed. And, turning to Mars, why call a Marathon Bar a Snickers Bar? Snickers sounds like an old pair of trainers or worse, a pair of ladies under clothes. Why call Opal Fruits Starburst just to bring us into line with the rest of the world. Is it our fault they have no imagination?
-
I preferred Opal Fruits, Starburst sounds naff but then again Ive
gotten used to it now, some people will always remain in the dark ages.
-
Besides when Marathon became Snickers they totally changed the recipe.
-
Better or worse Goldencup?
-
I have never liked it either way as I don't 'do' peanuts but I remember friends at the time saying it was definitely better as Marathon.
-
Snickers are too salty.
-
Has the Wispa bar really been discontinued,or is it just harder to find?.
-
I still call them opal fruits
-
Indeed Wispa's are missed, not to mention the mint ones!!
-
And Wispa Golds! Sigh....
-
I had a dream about Wispas

-
Do tell
-
We was walking around Tesco, like you do, and I was about to have a bit
of a spreee down the chocolate aisle when he took the trolley off me
and ran to the check out. There were also fruity yorkies and dark
aeros

-
A magical Tesco.
