Title: Roll Call!
Post by: wjp666 on February 13, 2014, 03:47:23 am
So if memory serves, we lost a couple of posters just about before Xmas (though at least one was a troll of sorts, so nothing too serious.) Just wondering who is still out there? So give me a loud "HERE, SIR!" if you are reading this. (Well, you can drop the 'sir'... so formal. I wil settle for O Captain My Captain... actually, forget that too... I'm just quoting overrated movies now. Just a HERE will do fine!)  8)

I think the decline in posters demonstrates how social media has changed over the past ten years. I remember when this forum was buzzing every day. Sometimes it got really heavy and at other times it was just quite strange. I quite miss the old days and I certainly miss some of the characters.

Yes I agree Oldspice but it's not just that, for me it's having a smart phone.  I deal with almost everything via my phone these days so don't very often boot up the aged pc and have a look at the forum.  I do check it far more often than I actually post though - and I know that Loulou and Smurfy are alive and kicking!

I've said it before and I'll say it again... it's all Mark Zuckerberg's fault!
