Title: Duc d'O Truffles...what are your thoughts?

I remember having some Duc d'O Truffles to round off quite a lavish cheese and wine evening. I remember thinking they were gorgeous at the time, but the reliability of my memory must be called into question considering I had a fair amount of the old vino that night.

What is everyone's thoughts on Duc d'O? I was thinking of buying some (lots of them) for a Christmas party, but need assurance from fellow chocolateurs  ;)

I was reading this post out to my partner and I said "I don't think I remember them",
and he said
"Oh you do...... They were the ones that looked like little turds..."

Just Googled them and he was right.
I do remember them, and they do look like little turds. lol

They have to be some of the most attractively packaged turds I've ever seen in that case  ;)

I seem to recall they tasted alright though. They're not mega posh chocs, but then they're not mega expensive either.
