Paul A. Young (http://www.paulayoung.co.uk/)
I was really looking forward to this because I've heard good things about Paul A. Young's brownies. The first thing that strikes you is the sheer weight of the thing; it really is dense! It's wrapped in a plastic wrapper with Paul A. Young ribbon that you cannot wait to undo. As for the brownie within...
I think the emphasis here is on FUDGE; this isn't really a brownie, as such, it's more of a large, fudgey block. Unfortunately, the only flavours I can detect upon eating it are golden syrup with a hint of chocolate, which makes it sweet beyond endurance. Also, this 'brownie' gets very boring, very quickly due to the monotonous lack of other flavours! I can honestly say I was disappointed with this as I tend to like strong chocolatey flavours and especially because it cost £3.95. Give me a proper brownie any day!
Sorry, but this only gets 2/10
