I have not watched a single minute of it since the Jedward atrocity a few years ago. Though according to my facebook feed tonight the talentless one got the boot tonight.

I haven't bothered with it this year. My favourites always get voted out. I have been even more addicted to Strictly this year and want Louis Smith to win because he is a local boy.

I still watch but the problem is there is no one I particularly want to win this year. Ella was my favourite; now she's gone I'm not that bothered about Quasi, the Cat Strangler and the Curious Orange.

Does winning this show even mean anything in 2012? They'll get a Christmas number 1 out of it, disappear for nearly a year, release a flop album, get dropped from the label and end up doing caberet in Butlins. They really need to stop making this dross.

You're actually better off coming second or third if the past is anything to go by. One Direction, JLS, Olly Murs - not a winner amongst them. Steve Brookstein, Leon Jackson, Matt Cardle - all winners, but could you pick them out of a line-up?

Really? I think she just got too big for her boots and flounced off.
