Title: Milk Tray dont taste like it should!
Post by: Forth Bridges on April 16, 2012, 07:30:18 pm
I came across this, I bet some can relate!!!

Cadbury's famous Milk Tray chocolates have been the subject of criticism recently, with reports of a number of consumers claiming they don't taste like they used to. So why do reworked recipes cause a public outcry - often some time after the changes have taken place?

It's not hard to find an excuse to sample some old favourite treats - chocolates in particular. And a number of newspaper commentators were recently prompted to delve into a box of Milk Tray after it was noted that former fans were taking to social networking sites to lament the chocolates' "changed recipe" - and the missing coffee and orange cremes.

Milk Tray used to be a fantastic selection, as did Dairy Milk and Black Magic. However, I don't touch any of them these days because they are just broing, boring, boring.

I agree oldspice. The only box of chocolates I truly like are the ones from M&S. Milk and Dark selection I think they are called. Cost around £6 but are frequently half price

I had a Hotel Chocolat selection recently that I was not impressed with at all.  And I'm sure they have changed CDM in their Easter eggs - the one I had was definitely not up to standard.  In fact I had to buy another one to make sure!  But seriously, they weren't nice.

Completely agree on the CDM Easter eggs - mine tasted as if it had never even seen cocoa.
