Title: Cadbury Highlights Wafers
Post by: smurfboy on March 23, 2005, 09:20:36 am
I spotted these in Tesco last night. The packaging looks like a big CDM bar, but they're actually individual biscuit 'bars'. Apricot and Peach was the only flavour I saw, but there could have been more. Presumably as they're named after the drink they're low fat/calorie?

I often find low fat stuff isn't worth the bother - I don't enjoy it enough. It's better to have something that's got 10g of fat and really enjoy it than something with 5g and not enjoy it, because then you end up feeling guilty about the 5g!

Thats my point. If you are on a diet and you want something sweet have
something you really want, even if it's a half portion.

Ah, the half portion. Such a good idea in theory... and one day I'm sure I'll have one.

I find it annoying when people say that if you have a few pieces of
chocolate you will be fine, does no one understand that you can't buy a
bar and just have a few pieces?!

I can actually do it with a massive bar, but I can't eat half a normal size bar and save the other half for later, even with things like Twirls that are almost designed for it.

They say Maltesers are best if you are on a diet, because they are not as fattening.

I never eat Bountys so I don't know what they're like calorie wise, so I'll take your word for it Lou!
