Title: 50 years of Corrie

It is the only programme on TV I watch regularly. I dip into other stuff like New Tricks (it's getting a bit stale I think) and documentaries (I loved the recent series on British Art) but Corrie is like an old comfotable pair of slippers you just can't throw away.

I know Smufy is a fan but what about the rest of you?

Post by: smurfboy on November 30, 2010, 01:04:07 pm: I think in the past few years - really since the Richard Hillman saga - Corrie has been on fantastic form. It's been helped by the fact that EastEnders hit a major slump in around 2003 and took years to recover (and given some of the episodes lately it's about to hit another one). I love the idea that Corrie will still be around in another 50 years - maybe a Betty hologram will be cooking virtual hotpots by then!

I thought it was quite well filmed. It looked quite realistic.

I was tired of the silly John/Charlotte storyline so I'm hoping he can make it look as though she died in the accident - but I'm not holding my breath. I like Fizz and John and think they are a lovely couple.
