ooh yes, have a DS, DS lite (from japan) and a DSi. Not that I play on them much - mostly leave that to Mrs chocadmin :)

I bought an American DS Lite about 18 months ago (it's cherry red on the outside and black on the inside of course) which I use every day. Mostly I play the games compendium, what is it called ... 48 games or something? I play it in my lunch hour. But occassionally a game like Bomberman Land Touch, Phantom Hourglass or Prof Layton comes along which I really enjoy and they take up a lot of time.

I've got the Special Edition Guitar Hero DS Lite.  It's silver and black and has the Guitar Hero logo on the front.  I've got Guitar Hero (of course), with the click on widget, Phantom Hourglass, Monster Lab and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.  I tend to play RPG's a lot.

What's the first Prof Layton game like?

Both Prof Layton games are great. Although I have to say I stopped playing the first one after 20 or so puzzles because Mrs chocadmin is so much better at them. I haven't played the second one because the mrs completed it in less than a day. So perhaps I should say, great games provided you haven't got someone with a Maths degree to point out how easy they all are (apart from the ones she had to look up how to solve ;) ).

Well I spent a couple of hours on it this weekend, I think it's easier than the previous version (so far) but still entertaining.

A useful addition is a 'memo' screen; when you get a puzzle you can click 'memo' and it's like putting a sheet of tracing paper over the screen so you can still see the puzzle but you can make notes on it.

That's what I liked about Phantom Hourglass.  You can write on the screen to remember stuff later.

 ;) OK lorri I won't tell him.

I named mine Richard, as in Richard Hammond ('hamster' from Top Gear.) He's looking quite sporty now!

Yes that is true wjp, hamsters do rule. But not content with a hamster you want a baby ...and where is it ???? LATE that's where. Hiding until the nice weather returns i think.

My Zelda game arrived, am saving it to play on my Xmas hols (starting next week) but whether I will actually be able to save it until then is another matter!
