Wilkinsons is wonderful. I've been a fan for years. We used to go to Stamford to have a look round every few months but now we have a massive one in Peterborough. It's great for gardening products, cheap household cleaning products and I even bought an excellent duvet cover for my son's bedroon that washes so well and looks as fresh as the day I bought it. I know they have good sweets to but I usually avoid going to that side of the store as I've been cutting down a bit lately.

I need to do that too as my teeth are knackered! :(

I remember the bigger of the two Wilkinsons stores in Nottingham used to do clothing, but I think this has been phased out now in favour of a larger home selection and the grocery selection most stores carry. I always find them excellent value - they had some table lamps recently that were exactly the same as those I saw for twice the price in a lighting shop.

The Wilko in Plymouth appears to have stopped their pick 'n' mix :-(
