That's the name of the site - so let's do just that! Each person picks a bar for the next person to review, then picks one for the following person. The only rules is your review must be no more than one sentence long, plus a score out of ten. For example, my review of CDM with Biscuit would say:
Tasty enough, but an unimaginative combination. 6/10
So to start us off:
Cadbury Dream?
-
Sweet, a bit too sickly for my tastes but Ok if you want something different from Cadburys. 4/10
Cadburys Double Decker?
-
Delicious and satisfying - the only bar that does it for me when I've missed a meal. 9/10
Crunchie?
-
Light choc bar with that 'from your childhood' taste and inimitable honeycomb texture. Very difficult to nibble off the chocolate. 7/10
Fry's Turkish Delight?
-
Tut tut Bounty - where are your marks out of ten?
-
Fry's Turkish Delight?
A real 'love it or hate it' bar - and I love it. 10/10
Galaxy Dark?
-
F***in' Magic!!!!! 10/10
Golden Crumble?
-
Why remake Crunchie - and if you're going to do it, why do it badly? 4/10
Fry's Peppermint Cream?
-
An old favourite. Indulgent and simply made for a cup of coffee 9/10
Topic?
-
a hazelnut in every bite but really needs to be king size. 10/10.
snickers?
-
The bastard child of the affair a Mars bar had with some peanuts. 1/10
Prize?
-
A rather sickly, stodgy version of Picnic. Not seen one for ages, thank goodness. 2/10
Marble?
-
W-e-l-l, it's Cadbury, innit?! A mix of white and milk chocolate mixed together to create the marble effect, with a praline centre. The outside tastes like you'd expect modern Cadbury to taste like (read 'meh') and the praline centre isn't that much better. Maybe they should leave praline to the better chocolate creators? A resounding 5/10
Starbar
-
Like a rather soft gooey Boost, the texture is pleasant, but to say it's meant to be 'shot through' with peanuts, I don't think the peanut taste comes through at all. 5/10
Cadbury's Fruit and Nut?
-
it's like cadbury's, except with some fruit and some nuts in it. 8/10
toblerone.

One sentence???

it's like cadbury's, except with some fruit and some nuts in it. 8/10

Something indefinable about it makes it seem like a treat. 8/10
Mint Aero?

Smooth, minty velvet. Great with coffee 8/10
Boost with guava?

Doesn't exist. 0/10

Rough and chewy raspberry-flavoured coconut bar with thin chocolate coating. 5/10

Mintola?
-
Once a sophisticated treat - the continual rebrands have taken the shine off. 7.5/10
Twix?
-
Once a real 10/10 but the extra crunchy base now sets my teeth on edge so I will give it 8/10 cos it is still ok dipped in a cup of tea.
Bounty dark?
-
I can't stand coconut, but at least it's different. 1/10 (for effort)

For some reason I prefer it in Celebrations than 'big' bar size. 7/10

-
If I had any I'd give them all to pham :) 3/10
Curlywurly?
-
Miles of chewy fun. 6/10
Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted?
-
Enjoyable, but overpriced - I preferred the CDM version. 7/10
CDM Mint Chips?
-
Nice, but not Mint Cracknell. 7/10
Maltesers?
-
Addictive once you start. 8/10
Mars Planets?
-
Ok but ultimately missing something. 6/10
Terry's chocolate Orange bar?
-
Rather sickly orange flavoured waxy chocolate. 4/10
Cadbury's Wispa?

CDM with a soft centre surprise. 4/10

Revels?
-
Tut tut Smurfy - already been done
To be fair so had a few others but no one noticed, or were too polite to say. ;)
Russian Roulette without the bullets (now coffee has been removed). 9/10
Dime Bar?
-
Tut tut Smurfy - already been done
I dont see why that's a problem - it's a different person reviewing each time. Isn't the point to get a wide range of opinions?
-
Dime - The kind of bar I don't buy often, but then wonder why not when I do. 8/10
Bournville?
-
Good if you have the dry heaves and nothing comes up. 0/10

Tut tut Smurfy - already been done

Very true and besides, who has the time to trawl though the whole list to see what's already been done? I only remembered it because it was the first one I answered. I was just having a bad day! :-[
-
Awwh, you're blushing! No need on my account though :)
-
Ahem, moving on - a mediocre bar that seems to be lacking something, such as raisins. 5/10
Minstrels?
-
They make the roof of your mouth sore if you suck'em but they're worth the pain. 8/10
Planets?
-
Dangerously addictive - the only downside is the excess of chewy ones in most tubes. 8/10

Much missed fruit fondant chocolate bar. 10/10
Picnic?
-
Lots of textures and tastes in one bar, but it all works brilliantly. 10/10
