Title: Favourite biscuit
Post by: loulou on June 14, 2008, 08:40:04 pm
McVitie’s Milk Chocolate Digestive has been voted Britain’s favourite biscuit of all time.

McVitie’s Chocolate Hobnob was No2 in the onepoll.com of 5,000 people. Walkers Shortbread was third.

Choc varieties dominated the biscuit top 10, with Chocolate Chip Cookies, Bourbon Creams and Chocolate Fingers scoring high. Custard Creams came fifth and Jammy Dodgers took ninth place.

It just shows that some people will eat any old crap and think it great.
Quite clearly dark chocolate caramel digestives were the best.
Unfortunately the idiots stopped making them
No, no. That doesn't prove anything.
They stopped making Cabanas, Mars Midnights and Secrets too.

Some of the triple/quad chocolate cookies that tesco and sainsbury make are nice (and fox's do a similar one now too), but for 'everyday' biscuits I have to go with Oreo's (I hope the current marketing push by them in this country will lead to some of the other flavours coming over here - or at least double stuff ones...)
