there is nothing on TV any more.does anyone know any good programmes?
There have been too many watered down children's book versions and films, so people don't expect the book to be so dark. The same with Frankenstein.
Fat Friends and Desperate Housewives are the only things really worth watching on the box at the mo.
I watch
I do agree there is pretty much nothing on! Loved the Crystal Maze and Kryton Factor when it was on. Fort Boyard wasn't too either.
Yep, I like You Are What You Eat as well, and Ten Years Younger. They're such brilliant bitch-fests.
Gillian McKeith: 'Do you really have chips four times a week?' Fatty: 'Yes, I didn't think it was that bad'. GMK: 'Not that bad? You'll be dead within a year! And you feed your children like that? What kind of terrible mother are you?' Fatty then bursts into tears...
I watch it, :) So I will see him :D
Things like that are cool. I like to be learning.
Horizon
Have I got News For You
Most Channel 4 science-related programmes
Little Britain
Simpsons
These

Forgot to add that to my list along with The Simpsons and Friends.
Gillian, Kathy from Eastenders, the hoe from footballers wives ( I hear you cry which one)
She was done for giving a blow job on the motorway, how amusing.
When I was a kid, we didn't have TV. Then, when I was 12, I went to live with some relatives for a while and they introduced me to what they thought were "nice" programmes for a young girl.
These consisted of things like Black Beauty and Junior Showtime. I hated them. Black Beauty did nothing for me and Junior Showtime consisted of geeky-looking, mother-fixated show-offs singing music hall songs or songs from the shows. There was this kid called Neil who used to sing about his mother and other kid who sang about his "Milly Molly Mandy".
When I started to show a preference for Thunderbirds and The Old Grey Whistle Test my relatives were horrified and from then on I was referred to as "that strange little Julie". Over thirty years later I haven't changed much but they've got used to me!!
Oldspice you have given me horrible memories of that nasty boy (I think he was Scottish) Neil something, singing "Mother of Mine." I feel quite ill! The original Thunderbirds was great stuff although I confess I didn't see it until the 80's. I wasn't allowed to stay up late enough for the Old Grey Whistle Test when I was a kid
Goldencup - you're right, it was Neil Reed!
"Mother of mine
You gave to me
All of my life
To do as I please"
Yuk!
Yes it might have been. Money and a helicopter/aeroplane was involved somehow. I remember I was quite little. A good ten years ago.
Yup, that was definitely Treasure Hunt. Annabel Croft did it for a while too but wasn't as good.
I loved Crystal Maze and that programme with Anika Rice.
I liked Crystal Maze, Richard O'Brian was amazing. I also loved Challenge Anneka.
Programmes I miss are:
One Man and His Dog.
Face The Music.
My Music.
