Title: where to buy Fererro Tronky??

Hello.

I just thought I'd ask again in a seperate post to my other. I had these on a trip to Malta and can't get hold of them in this country or import anywhere. If anyone hears of anything please let me know.

What are Ferrero tronky? Are they like ferrero rocher?

And according to the guy's blog, this is what they're like:

 

The bar itself is a large puffed wafer that breaks easily. This bar definitely wasn't made to take a beating. The wafer doesn't really have a taste but can be compared to chewing on a piece of thick newspaper. The inside is a hazelnut goo... Nutella!

 

I don't know about you, but they sound rather yummy, apart from the thick newspaper bit!  You can't get them at CyberCandy yet, either.

Is it me or do these look exactly the same as a KitKat Senses? I'd try investing in some of those Susie!

But Nutella has its own flavour (and yummy it is too!).  I'm sure a Tronky would knock a Kitkat Senses bar for six!

You won't know until you try... it just seems a damn sight easier than trying to import Tronky.

Tronkys are a little different to senses and VERY morish...I think I must have put a few pounds on after my trip to Malta I can tell you!!  They were really cheap too.
