Title: Charlton Heston dies.

Charlton Heston has died aged 84 . I thought he was older than that.

Oh...

 

He was marvellous. I loved his movies.

For some reason, (after all I didn't know him!), I am really upset.

I thought he was older than that too Lou.

 

As a child, he was one of my herso, mainly die to the film Ben Hur. To me he was always Ben Hur.

 

His connections to the gun lobby group are well known but he was also a keen civil rights supporter and marched alongside Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr, whose death 40 years ago was also marked this week.

 

Rest in peace.

i thought he was 'deader' than that. i could have sworn blind he died last year.

Me too.  I thought he died about 10 years ago and was atleast 90.

Do you recall him in his apron serving drinks on the Dame Edna Everage show?
