Title: Scotland
Post by: on March 08, 2008, 07:20:53 pm
Should Scotland, with their deep fried Mars bars be independent from the United Kingdom or remain part of the Union?  They already have a number of laws, which differ significantly from England.  Their judicial system is quite different.  They are culturally distinct and in the Outer Hebrides, Gaelic is the first language.

I say they should cut the rope and do their own thing.

Discuss.

Yes indeed, Bounty.

That'll be this much, thank you.

But if they did would I still be able to get the porriage oats with the man in the kilt on the box?

I think that's an important thing to get straight before I decide what I think.

Scott's?  Yes, I doubt that any independence would affect porridge distribution.

As long as I can still have Walkers shortbread and the occasional box of Edinburgh rock.

Yes, these are the important issues.
I think more political campaigns should be run on issues of this kind.
