I am amazed no one has said 'if you bought it all separately it'd be half the price' or similar yet.

I think if it inlcudes postage it is a fair price. I'm not sure about the Curly Wurlys though. They seem a bit out of place.

Just think, that cardboard box is worth at least ..........oh............50p.
See! It's well worth it now.

I wish I had one of those boxes. It would change my life.

There is nothing that says Happy Valentines Day/Happy Birthday/Congratulations on your hysterectomy/You look like the greedy sort of bugger who would eat this lot in one go, like a Cadbury cardboard box.

I am willing to do a completely scientific consumer test if someone is willing to buy me one.

In the interests of science only of course. Big%20smile

Me too.  I started this thread expecting you all to say you were going to purchase one.  It is so obviously a bargain.  Could you purchase all that individually for fifteen pounds?

The more I think about it, it probably is quite good value. The choices seem odd for a gift box though - if I was buying someone a choc-related present I think I'd go for something a bit more traditional.

It works out about 50p to a pound better than individually (unless you bargain shop them).
Direct without any middlemen. Hmmmmmm.

The Crunchie and Flake can be had for 2 for 5 pounds in most stores.

But isn't Russel Brand a little strange? I saw him on a TV panel game a few weeks ago and found him really annoying and more than a little self-obsessed. I am sure our Smurfy is as good looking but with more self-control.

Do you control yourself, Smurfy?
Personally, I can't help myself.

Then again, who can?

I agree with oldspice.  RB is a bit odd.  Smurfy do you wear your jeans as tight as Russells?

Awwh, bless you Oldspice HugI hope I'm a little bit more self-controlled but it depends on my alcohol intake! And yes Lou, I do wear my jeans that tight.

The man who lives up my street died today.  He wasn't famous but no one had seen him for a few days and when the police broke down his front door he was dead on the floor.  That's what I call sad.

It happens with alarming frequency these days.

No, not the deaths!

Dying alone and undiscovered for days if not months.

That is why we should all take notice of when we last seen our elderly neighbours if they live alone.
