Title: Light aircraft crash

Two British men have been killed in a light aircraft crash:

The reason I'm posting this story is because one of the men, Chris Davies, was a cousin of mine (my mother's cousin's son). This is the kind of thing you see on the news and think is awful, but you never think will happen in your family. I wasn't close to Chris, but I'm still struggling to take it in and can't stop thinking of how his poor mother is going to cope.

It sounds silly, but I would encourage all of you to go and tell the people you love how you feel. When I heard my mother crying on the phone tonight I just imagined if it had been me, and how even though she knows how much I love her, I couldn't think when I'd last said it out loud.

That's excellent advice smurfboy.

I never know what to say in situations like this.

My sympathy to you and your whole family.
