Pacers? Splicers? These are mysteries to me...

I'm 25 - should I be able to remember these?

They used to be called Opal Mints and they were plain white. They were FANTASTIC spearmint chews. Then they became Pacers and acquired a green stripe. After a few years as Pacers they were axed.

THEY WERE FANTASTIC. SOFT, CHEWY, MINTY AND JUICY ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

Of course, anything decent tasting has to be got rid of so we can be left with boring, cheap-tasting tat.

I was allergic to Spearmint Pacers.
