Title: Need help on name!
Post by: catr1987 on October 21, 2007, 01:30:42 am
Hi,
I'm looking for the name of a kind of bar my mum used to get when she was little.

It was out in the 70s and 80s, and was made from cinder toffee type stuff but kind of melted in your mouth. it came in chocolate, orange and mint flavours. thats all i know. ive been searching for absolutely ages and found nothing, some people have said it could have been called puff candy but couldnt find anything on that either. hope someone can help me find then name before i go crazy! thanks very much :)

cathy

This bar has been discussed on the Forum before and I think the name Puff Candy is all anyone could come up with.  I am sure there was another name for this bar but I can't remember it. Sorry!

sounds a bit like something i used to have  called  anytime bar,  like dense honeycombe thinly coated in cheap chocolate/chocolate flavour coating , seemed quite big at the time, probably wasn`t though LOL
