I've been trying my hardest to get one for over a month now! If anybody knows of where I can buy one from asap, I'd be ever so grateful if you could let me know.
Thanks

I've seen them in HMV.
-
i'm sure i saw some in Woolies yesterday... and Argos.
-
I work for Littlewoods Home Shopping and the latest delivery date is now Jan 08! And we've been out of stock all summer.
-
I had this problem a couple of weeks ago. Was trying to get one for my son's birthday which is the second week of October. None of the major shops have any and this problem is not just local to me, I'm talking nationwide. Even Hamleys in London don't have any. I hate to say this but I think it's extremely unlikely that any will be available anywhere this side of Christmas. Even Game aren't taking orders for them and that's very unusual.
For the record, I did manage to get one in the end from a shop called GameStop in Birmingham. I doubt they have any now but might be worth a try. They were apparently the last shop to have any left in the whole of Birmingham!!!!
Good luck

Oh yeah, must get this off my chest too...
I HATE it when shops put the empty boxes on display to make it look like they have some in stock when there are none

. They could at least put a notice outside to inform people that they are out of stock. I'm sure lots of people ask for these consoles every day so it would save both staff and customers from wasting their time.

I don't know about this year, but last Christmas the Virgin and HMV stores in Brum all put 'out of stock' notices up.
-
We were thinking of one of these for our boys Christmas, saw how scarce they were and then realised that it would be better to invest in something that gave better rewards long term.
We hope they appreciate their musical instruments!

I hope you and Marble appreciate their musical instruments too.

Not this year - It's infuriating

Actually, the console itself isn't bad but I don't think it lives up to the hype either...these things never do, do they?
-
Do you know, I don't think you can beat a wooden bat with a rubber ball on the end of an elastic for entertainment.
WELL......................
that or a game of bare bum tig.

-
BREAKING NEWS!!!!!
Woolworths in Tamworth have them in stock...got a call this morning. There must be a good chance then that other suppliers have had deliveries too.

-
We hope they appreciate their musical instruments!
Which instruments did you buy?
-
Guitar and electric piano.
I did suggest a big organ but Marble said one was enough in the house!
-
Blow your own trumpet why don't you?
-
I've got a pink oboe that you can get a good old tune on.
-
- How do you fix a broken tuba?
- With a tuba glue.

[The success of the Wii has helped Nintendo to double its profit in the six months to the end of September.
Demand for the console has outstripped that for Sony's Playstation 3 and Microsoft's XBox 360 - selling about 7.3 million units..........Nintendo has upped the number of Wii consoles it expects to sell in the year to March from 16.5 million to 17.5 million.
Demand has been so high that the Japanese firm has had supply difficulties. It is thought that it will take another year before the firm can ramp up production to meet demand. ]
