It would be incredibly expensive to just start reproducing old bars at random every few weeks.
Strange stuff, Mint Cracknell. It came as two chocolate-covered squares, on a cardboard tray like a Bounty (and don't get me started on the absence of those trays in current-day Bounties...). Bite into it, and you'd discover something with the consistency of fibreglass matting, green in colour. And boy, was it green - it was the greenest thing I've ever seen. Heavily laced with essence of mint, it wasn't quite in the Sharp's Extra Strong Mint league of mintiness, but you certainly knew when you'd eaten one. Probably about a pound of sugar in each square too.
Bring 'em back? Yeah, why not , but please - spare us the telly adverts featuring Noel Edmonds.
I remember the green strands used to stick into your tongue - but they were still delicious. Kind of masochistic chocolate.
There was another one too with blue minty crystals - was it Icebreaker?
