Car licence plates which bear the sequence SN07 were banned from the streets of Edinburgh because they are "offensive", it has emerged.
The plate had been due to follow on from the SN56 registration in March.
Licensing officials at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) changed the plate to TN07 to avoid it being similar to the word "snot".

How pathetic. Has anyone on here got a personalised numberplate? I haven't. My boss has an unpersonalised one that happens to be YAP which I think is rather appropriate.

My firend has KHA11 and I know someone with T3LCO where the 3 is supposed to be an E so a bit pointless and only people who know him knows what it is. I want LOU 1.
Overall I think personal numberplates are a bit sad if only the driver understands the meaning.

My dad has a personalised plate, but it's just three numbers plus his initials - it's not one of these you need a degree in semantics to decipher.

I like those ones but I drive behind them trying to work out what the name of the driver is.
