I'm not usually impressed with 'new' chocolate bar concepts but I have to say that I find the idea of a fruit toblerone rather appealing...it should work, shouldn't it?

49p (half price) in Sainsbury's today so I succumbed.  Ok - nothing special - wish I hadn't broken the diet for it.

Go to Sainsbury's and get a cheap one - that way if you don't like it you've only wasted 50p.

Good but not as great as I might have thought if you had merely explained the ingredients to me without me ever tasting them.
Marble adores them, however.

They're 100% better than the original, does anyone know if they're here to stay or limited edition?

I really like these but the taste of the fruit drowns out the other flavours.  Nice as they are, you might be better off buying a bag of chocolate raisins.

For the record, white toblerone is the only white chocolate bar I like.  They are much nicer than the dark ones which are truly revolting Dead

*Tch* Should we listen to the ramblings of a pregnant woman? Apparently their brains shrink when they are so.

Strangely, I actually like milk chocolate Toblerones more than the dark variety.
Most unlike my usual tastes.

Have you gone off anything you previously liked? Our receptionist used to guzzle tea like anything, but now she's pregnant it makes her sick.

Yes, quite a few things.  The main ones are nuts (in their natural state), orange juice (mostly because it makes me feel horribly ill when I drink it at the moment), eggs and 'healthy' cereals such as Bran Flakes, All Bran etc.

On the flip side, I've had terrible cravings for steak, lamb chops (very unusual for me as I'm not somebody who generally eats red meat at all), cheese and Toblerone...not at the same time though.  Well, not yet anyway Wink
Blimey, that could be interesting...

Cheese and Toblerone sandwich anyone???

If only you had that problem prior to your pregnancy, maybe you wouldn't be.
