I've had my broken wisdon tooth out and now feel much better.
-
Were you awake and did it hurt?
-
My goodness that was quick.
I am happy about that.
Hope it heals well and really quickly. Did they say rinse it with warm salt water or not? Some say it's best to, and some say it's not a good idea!
-
Glad the pain's over for you Smurfy.
-
My dentist swears by warm salt water gargling - he says it's more effective than antibiotics if you get an infection.
-
When I had my wisdom tooth out I was given a leaflet telling me not to rinse with salt water as it wouldn't help the bleeding stop.
-
I was also advised not to rinse.
I was awake but it wasn't that painful as apparently the tooth was quite loose. I only needed one dose of anaesthetic, as opposed to the four of five I had last time. I was lucky to get an emergency appointment, but if I hadn't been able to get that there is a dental hospital in Birmingham I could have gone to.

I meant for minor infections, not when you've had a tooth out.
