A mini Asian bambi has been spotted for the first time in woodland at Washington.


Dubbed the "Wear-Deer", mammal experts say it is only a matter of time before their numbers spread across the North East.

Awww, sweet.  Don't fancy its chances much against Bush though, an Asian Bambi being seen near Washington.

The deer, which stands about 18 inches at the shoulder, has been known to go into gardens to feed.
