Just looked out of my window and it's snowing.
YIPPEE! I love snow. Hope it stays long enough for a snowman.

-
It's sunny here, but I heard it was going to snow this week. It seems mad to me and I hope it doesn't happen - snow is for winter, it's spring now!
-
Now it's raining and washing all the snow away.
It was Spring here yesterday and now it's winter again. Tomorrow it'll be spring again. It's like a roundabout.
I wonder what those global warming/new ice age guys would make of the weather we're getting right now?

-
It's perfectly normal for this time of year!
In 1975, Easter fell on about April 4th and there was thick snow in the south east. We were camping along the Pilgrims' Way in Kent and remember putting up and taking down tents in about four inches of snow.
-
You mean you didn't just pack up and go home? Or a really nice pub or hotel or something?
Wasn't it really really cold and uncomfortable camping in snow?
I agree with you about the weather, and it almost always rains when I hang out washing anyway, but they like to read things into things don't they?

it was snowing this morning while at the same time the sun was blinding you as it was so bright

We were just 17 years old at the time and could not afford a hotel! We just got on and enjoyed ourselves. It was very cold, but the worst thing was trying not to tread snow into the tent on our way in!
As it was Easter and we were on Pilgrims' Way it was a kind of endurance test - we were practising Christians - and we would not have packed up and gone home because we were supposed to reflect on self sacrifice and the price paid by Christ's death. It sounds kind of corny now but at the time it made perfect sense to me. I suppose looking back it still does make sense. I think.

snow? it's blazing hot down here!
-
been sunny but cold wind here today, they have forecast snow for tonight but we never normally get any as we are too well protected by the south downs
i love snow
-
now the sun's gone down for the night, it's DAMN cold here! i would fully expect snow sometime in the next 24 hours. wjp6662007-03-18 21:48:43

I hope you're right wjp but somehow I doubt it. They've been gritting the roads though.
-
it'd be nice to say we've had one blast of snow this year.

I know. As usual we haven't had a single solitary flake this winter.

-
just once in my lifetime (apart from that slight fall we had in '84, i think) i'd love it to snow at christmas. we're too close to spring for snow now. it's kind of depressing in a way.
-
Depressing? Do you really like sludging through snow to get to work? It looks nice from the window and it's fun if you can play around in the garden but when it comes to practical things like getting around it's pure menace! I'd love it if it snowed and I did not have to step outside into the street!
-
We wouldn't know if we like sludging through snow to get to work Oldspice. We'd like a chance to try it. I have happy memories of walking through snow going to College but that's the last time I saw the stuff.
-
Snowing here to i like snow if its deep enough.
-
Cold, windy and showers of rain in Plymouth but no sign of snow.
-

My mum says just the same thing, and she hates driving in it.
-
I hate snow. It's annoying.
-
We had loads of snow yesterday but by lunch time today it was all melted away. loulou2007-03-21 22:52:03
