Post by: sharond on November 25, 2006, 04:10:10 pm

Has anyone ever heard of a Montego bar. I think it was produced in the late 70's - 80's and think it was probably manufactued by Nestles.Would love to know what was in it. Thanks

Yes, there were chocolate biscuits called Montego. There were five or six in a pack (like Penguins) and there were three varieties: orange and spice, ginger -and I can't remember the last one.

They were around in  about the late 70s to early 80s and I think they were made by McVities.

I think my Dad designed the wrapper for this bar... He brought boxes of them home... I loved them!!...However he is no longer around to ask.

That's sad to know. I take it your dad was a graphic designer? Welcome to the forum by the way.
