Anybody have any news on the 2005 kit kat flavors that will be coming out. Can't wait to see what they will come out with next.
-
What about "cheap-tasting-chocolate-covered-wafer" flavour? That will bring them into line with a lot of other nestle products.
-
Garlic flavour
-
I haven't heard anything about any new flavours
-
Isn't it "regional" flavours next?
Lancashire hot pot, haggis and neeps and for all you people in Bradford, chicken madras.
-
Would be delighted to see the Peanut butter one, but I can't see them launching it here. Maybe Strawberry?
-
Smurfboy have you got hold of the peanut butter one? I picked one up in cybercandy
-
No, Cybercandy only got stock just after I last ordered from them, and I can't afford another parcel of chocolate goodies just yet
Until then though I'll be enjoying Reese's Sticks, which I imagine are pretty similar, except the wafer is lighter in texture to Kit Kats.
-
What about a Chav's KitKat with a Burberry Checked wrapper and ketcup running through the wafer?
-
Chav KitKat sounds amusing.
I had a strawberry kitkat and a vanilla kitkat from the late, lamented Sweets From Heaven in the Glades in Bromley. Both bars were not with out their charm...
-
I like tomato sauce,it contains lycopene.
I think Mcdonalds flavour would be Chav flavour.
Seriously though, nice new flavours might be cinammon, ginger, passion fruit, pineapple or mango chutney.
-
Strawberry or Vanilla would be nice, at least they sound more
appetising that lemon or lime!!! Why did Nestle bring those ones out?
The lemon one was ok but the lime was just a weaker version of it.
I think though that new Kitkat flavours will always be unpopular as
they are usually just a version of the original with added flavourings.
-
What about a licquorice one.yuk yuk yuk.

I kind of enjoy seeing what odd and strange flavor they can invent. I never expected to see a Lime Kit Kat in my lifetime. Very weird
-
They canned a promised curry version. Honest, it's true!
-
spaghetti bolognese kitkat.
-
how about potato kit kat
-
tomato kitkat.
-
South Africa had a Pineapple one and it was lovely. A cinnamon one would be nice maybe, with a hint of apple?
-
A KitKat with decent chocolate and thick pineapple cream running through the wafer would get my vote.
-
Or just a Kitkat Chunky with luscious high quality milk chocolate all
over it. Hmmm my mouth is watering at the very thought.
-
Yeah right, like that's going to happen with Nestle!
-
theres a kit kat passion fruit fresh out in japan right now
-
Yes and so in Korea like is this one. Passion fruit is very nice.
-
I guess there is a Caramac kit kat out there now:
http://www.snackspot.org.uk/thread.php?story=0501261111sbc
-
Now that sounds good! Knowing my luck it won't appear in Brum - I never spotted the Xmas Pud ones.
-
Wow I will be on the look out for this one.
Bet it tastes fantastic!
-
i've recently gotten my hands on kitkat gold, kitkat matcha (green tea), and kitkat white all from japan, and then i have kitkat melon and kitkat passionfruit on the way....i'll be sure to post a review of some sort once i've tried them all
-

yeah I've had all of those too. I have the passion fruit on the way from ebay (had to try it). Green tea was REALLY good.
-
I saw strawberry, inside out, and vanilla in Sweets from Heaven the other day.
-
Vanilla and strawb are prob Canadian.
-
They are indeedy
-
I must admit I didnt look, I was more intrigued by the inside out one :)
-
i was fairly disappointed by the vanilla variety...i'm a huge vanilla fan i just didn't get much flavor out of the bar..
-
I am a vanilla fan aswell, i love cinammon just as much
-
The flavour is in the chocolate apparently which doesnt appeal to moi.
Kitkat flavour should be in the creme filling with an optional choice
of a flavoured coating.
-
I've heard the next variation is a Spam flavoured one, with real snouts and entrails.
-
I don't know why but I keep thinking that the next KK flavour will be liquorice.
-
-
-
Ahh but we all thought that about Green Tea flavour, but many reports on it suggest that it's very nice.
-
I don't know why but I keep thinking that the next KK flavour will be liquorice.
liquorice and chocolate do not mix at all. But then again, everybody says that for all the other Kit Kat flavors too
-
Well I imagine it would be just a liquorice flavouring or something. My
friend says that it mixes well..apparently you can get liquorice
bullets covered in chocolate.
-
I dont like licquorice, but I love licquorice flavoured things.
I AM A FREAK OF NATURE
-
Newest Kit Kat idea: Kit Kat Butter
-
raspberry kitkat
yummy
-
I dont like licquorice, but I love licquorice flavoured things.
I AM A FREAK OF NATURE
Conversely, I love coffee but hate coffee flavoured things, especially chocolate!
-
I am wierd about loads of things like that
I love cherry flavour, but hate cherrys, and hate banana flavour things, but love banana's
Maybe its being a girl
-
I'm the same with bananas and banana flavour. Somehow anything banana flavoured tastes really artificial.
-
I like banana toffee.
-
Forgot about that - so do I!
-
I dont :( i hate banana youghurt.
-
I hate hazelnut yoghutrs and toffee yoghurts. i love pineapple yoghurts and gooseberry yoghurts and blackcurreant yoghurts.
Tonight i made a fresh fruit salad (pineapple, melon, grapes, kiwi fruit) and my husband came into the kitchen and said
"can you add a tine of rhubarb to that please?"
Weird.
-
and did you?
-
im not a rhubarb fan.
-
I like rhubarb, think its quite tasty. I seem to like most fruits as well.
-
But going back to the Kit Kat flavours. I would like to see the Vanilla one made over here. I was lucky enough to get one of these in Cybercandy and they are lovely. A mint one being made permanent would also be good.
-
Mint is permanent isnt it? You can get it in multipacks in the biscuit aisle.
-
I meant in the 4 fingered variety.
Yes I think the 2 fingered ones are permanent
-
I find four fingers hard to take, two seems just right ;)
-
My girlfriend is OK up to three.
-
-
Just had my first Kit-Kat Caramac. Strange but pleasant. Bought a multi-pack to make sure!
-
Think it will take about 5 bars to be sure
-
This so isnt fair, I want some, and cant get them. I am going everwhere to look aswell :(
-
Salsa which part of the Midlands do you live in? I got mine from Waitrose in Mere Green (Sutton Coldfield) - are you keen enough to go over that way for some?
-
Don't fret Salsa - you'll have one very soon!
-
Think it takes a few weeks for the bars to circulate
-

That is where I went last week, and I didnt get any :(
But TARDAR Morrisons in walsallmust have had a delivery, so i brought 4 packs today :D lunchtime shopping rocks. We ate 8 at work - were pigs.
-
'TARDAR Morrisons in walsallmust'
Is that in code?
-
Have you never said 'tardar' because producting something?
-

-
-
As in 'ta-da' presumably - a fanfare
-
Thats the one goldencup
-
Going back to new Kit Kat flavours, how about Marmite flavour????
-
mingy mingy moo
almond flavour - yummy
-
-
Cinnamon
-
cinnamon and almond, yummy
-
-
Cinnamon
-
cinnamon donuts from mcdonalds rock. They looked like cats bums.
-
I can't think of a suitable answer to that....
-
There is nothing you can't do with cinnamon.
Admittedly your helmet can sting afterwards, but that is a risk i am prepared to take.
-
ha ha ha, i thought the sticks were a bit wide for that.
-
Cinnamon is only for Xmas.
-
there already was a cinnamon one in germany. I tried it.... was GREAT
-
-
An almond one sounds nice. Armertto (not sure on spelling) flavour would be good too
-
Spam with extra snouts and entrails.
-
oooh yeah tia maria kitkat yay!
-
Or irish cream....
They could do a double covered kit kat
-
I'm all for irish cream kitkat.
-
BANANA kit kat
-
Chipotle kit kat. HOT!
-
Salt and vinegar kitkat
-
BANANA kit kat
already did that in Japan
-
would be new here though.
-
banana would be nice. peach would be better.
-
carrot and puke flavour, ha ha ha
-
Urrgh...
Carrots?

-
but puke is fine :P sicko
-
All there's going to be to eat on the desert island is leaves, trees, fish and monkey's droppings - and I REFUSE to eat fish!
-
The pineapple one from South Africa was very nice.
-
we could eat the monkeys though, shoot them and barbque them
-
Green tea one was disgusting I thought. That was the puke flavour Kitkat

Anyone else tried it?
-
I did. It was interesting. Felt like throwing up towards the end of eating it
-
-
damn, so my idea of carrott and sick has already been done then :(
-
hey, now, kitkat green tea wasn't that bad, especially if you're a green tea ice cream fan
-
I'm not. Where do they sell green tea icecream?
And yes it WAS that bad. I was expecting it to be nice after what
people said about it, but the first thing that put me off was the vile
smell. Then there was the vile pukey taste. Strangely I wasn't bothered
by the fact that it was green coloured. Those Japanese Kitkats are
slightly different to the UK ones BTW.
-
Pocky is widely popular in Japan, pukey isn't...
-
what is pocky?
-
Only as seen on Cybercandy, long thin pretzels half dipped in chocolate, which probably come in as many varieties as there are for Kit Kats in the UK. Could be nice, if it isn't salty.
Anyone actually tried these?
-
I did - they weren't pretzels though. They were wheat or something and were pretty good
-
I dont like pretzels :(
-
pretzels are dry
-
I quite like pretzels.
-
im not a bagel fan either.
-
I've had the chocolate pretzels in Australia and they ARE salty which I found most unpleasant. I like bagels though, toasted with philadelphia - yum.
-
I love bagels with philadelphia.
-
see, im a sucker for a muffin with raspberry jam. ( breakfast muffin, not cake muffin)
-
I like muffins with jam too.
-
jam sarnies too.
-
Muffins with jam
-
Sainsbuyrys do a nice no seeds raspberry jam
-
Yes, that's the one I buy.
-
wooo! were jam twins.
-
But of course it's even nicer combined with Marmite
-

Yes I have tried a few of the flavours avaliable. I tried chocolate, strawberry, dark chocolate and cheese cake flavour. I think they are really yum. They are like a rich tea biscuit stick thing. Like an unsalted preztel but more like rich tea.
-
Sounds tempting, though not exactly the chocolate-overdose kind...
-
No, no choc overdose. Thye are just 'dipped'. Yummy though. The cheesecake ones are well covered.
-
I wonder what Japanese chocolate's like. Something about it just doesn't sit right.
-
I have tried Milky. Thats really nice. I think that is on cybercandy.
-
I wonder what Japanese chocolate's like. Something about it just doesn't sit right.
Well the green tea chocolate is vile.
Actually the Japanese Kitkats arent as yummy or crunchy as ours.
-
isnt that because the japs eat lots of innards.
-
Japanese chopping knives are appearing in my dreams...
-
I suppose a sushi Kitkat wouldnt be that surprising.
-
ha ha
tuna kitkat
-
Nestle Kit Kat Passion Fruit
http://www.snackspot.org.uk/
-
I like passion fruits, i like kitkats, must be a match made in heaven.
-
Nah, you get them from the Heavenly match company.
-
you will get poked young man.
-
Promises, promises.
-
Didnt Nestlé say they were thinking of bringing a Passionfruit one out here too? Along with liquorice and curry flavours.
-
:( @ liquorice :(
curry flavour, can't we have some nice other flavours, that arent stupid? They will be doing my carrot and sick idea soon, I can just see it.
/me pokes paulham
-
how about mixed flavor kit kats. Like, strawberry banana kit kat
-
curry flavour, can't we have some nice other flavours, that arent stupid?
I think curry would be for the black/asian community. Where I live
there are a lot of shops that sell unusual things and there are a lot
of asians/muslims etc in the area. They have different tastes to us.
-
Oh yeah, because asians/muslims automatically like things which are curry flavoured.
Asians have tastebuds too you know.
-
That's you told kevvosa.
-
Well sweetbejesus. Poor muslims seem to get the sticky end of the stick these days, im bored of them being made out to be evil all the time.
OMG they aren't darleks, they are real people.
-
Have you any proof?
-
yes, they bleed and everything.
-
most muslims and asians do have a special liking for stuff like curry. Its part of their culture
-
I love curry but a) I'm not Asian and b) That doesn't mean I'd want it in chocolate!
It sounds like a novelty thing to me.
-
Oh yeah, because asians/muslims automatically like things which are curry flavoured.
Asians have tastebuds too you know.
I know that. But it's a fact that they have a different lifestyle to
us, at least many of them do. I hate it how people can't say anything
about Muslims/Asians without being made out to be racist or something.
I live in a flat with Asians living next door, and we often can smell
their cooking wafting through into our kitchen (something to do with
the bloody faulty air vent) and generally it smells of curry, onion,
meat and spices.
Now I have nothing against Muslims or Asians at all. I just think a
curry Kitkat would be more targeted towards those groups, infact I'm
sure when I read about the curry Kitkat they said that it was targeted
at them. Nestlé denied they planned to do a curry Kitkat though.
I'm in no way saying that no one else but asians and muslims eat curry though.
I've seen you salsa, staggering about on a Saturday night with vindaloo dribbling down your pink top.
-
Well, isnt indian curry the top eating out food these days? I am sure there was a study on it, cant rmember whether it was take away, or fast food, or restaurant.
Anyway, Curry is nice for lots of people, not just asians.
I cant be arsed with stereotypes.
-
It's good that you can't be arsed with stereotypes, so I ought to point out that 'Asians' also includes Russians, Chinese, Japanese, Burmese, Iranian etc etc.
-
i'm more than aware that asia is a continent. :)
But, I thought muslims was just too tight a comment. Not just muslims eat curry, infact, most countries have a kinda curry dish. I think ours is hotpot or stew!
-

I was speaking to a Japanese girl via email about Kitkats and she said
that the curry/masala Kitkat sounds delicious, but didn't like the
sound of the Caramac one. Now if that isn't different tastebuds I don't
know what is
BTW I didn't mean different tastebuds literally.
-
snackspot says KK apple is in Japan and a 4 finger cappucchino KK is in Australia
-

True, but thats in the same way that I like aero, and everyone else on here thinks they are pants. Its not based on where you come from, its based on you as a person.
-
But surely if you grow up eating something as part of a culture, you get a taste for it?
I bet more Germans enjoy eating lots of different types of sausages
than us English do! When my German family came over here they brought
with them different sorts of meat and cheese, which the majority of
people in England have probably never even heard of before. They think
our sausages are rubbish (which they are) and also think Dairy Milk is
rubbish.
-
But I grew up eating curry, and im not asian.
Its all dependant on your surroundings. I have a friend who is from Pakistan and she hates curry. Intensely.
-
Isn't curry now more popular than Fish and Chips over here? I can't quite imagine a Fish n' Chip Kitkat

-

Which it is!
-
:S I havent had any in years.
-
I keep telling my shrink that.
-
ha ha, i dont do that anymore either :P
-
How about cheese flavour kitkat?
-
Dairy Milk on its own isn't that great but Dairy Milk fruit and nut is
the BEST. As is the biscuit one. For a cheap chocolate bar I think
Dairy Milk is quite good, considering for a similar price you can get
crap quality chocolate bars such as Aero
-

Absolutely!
Like there aren't enough choccie biscuits around. What does it bring to the table?
It isn't actually all thay cheap considering its ingredients. Try some foreign bars out of Lidl for 29p and upwards. Fabulous value.
-
Sorry Kevvosa, no offence intended to your German family, but I have to say that German food is terrible. I say that because personally, I don't like spicey meat, especially sausages, and I don't like anything pickled and my experiences in Germany (admit some years ago now) are of being very hungry because I could not find anything I liked - not even the bread. HOWEVER - I did eat a lot of delicious cakes there.
-

But that involves going to Lidl. :S
-
Don't worry!
They will let you in, even if you do smell like an old kipper.

I wasn't that keen on their sausages either but my auntie cooked things
such as pasta meals, meat and veggies, pizza and so on. Their icecream
is absolutely delicious. Eis Cafés as they are called are the best for
ice cream. Their cakes are also delicious.
-
Don't worry!

I'm more worried I would come out smelling like one.

-
Nowt wrong with Lidl - I've had some good bargains from there, chocolate being one of the main ones
-
I've never been to Lidl but if i find one i will go in.
-
Lidl is a German store isn't it?
-
No idea.
-
Yeah it is, same as Aldi
-
I already checked there.
Strudels are out of stock.
-
:( apple strudels?
